I spent my career as a practising dentist—a profession where attention to detail is never optional, where records must withstand scrutiny, and where people place their trust in you during some of life’s most important moments. Along the way, I also published clinical research, which instilled a discipline I have carried with me ever since: follow the evidence, verify the facts, and never present a guess as the truth.

After taking time away from my career to raise my two children, I found myself drawn to another field where precision, integrity, and genuine care make a meaningful difference. The disability sector is built on compassion, dedication, and service to some of the most vulnerable members of our community. The people and organisations working in this space deserve the freedom to focus on what they do best—supporting participants and changing lives—not spending countless hours navigating complex and ever-changing compliance requirements.

That is why I founded Bowerbird Compliance.

For me, this is more than a business. It is an opportunity to contribute, in my own way, to the social care sector by helping providers build strong, compliant foundations. When compliance is managed well, providers can spend less time worrying about documentation and audits, and more time delivering the quality care their participants deserve.
